NEED HELP WITH HEROO

Hi, ii ran the upgrade file on my hero, worked fine but didnt allow me to download from the the Apps Market, so did a restore and still having the same problems.

Any help appreciated

Did you connect your Google account again?
You need to after you upgrade it.

You need to be a litttle more specific with the topic, what upgrade are you talking about?

hi, ye i reconnected my gmail and it didn't work so thought it might have been something to do with my update. The flash update to the MoDaCo V.2.8.
It worked fine, reconnected to wireless n internet but couldn't download it was say starting but then stay there foreva, i restored it to the backup i created before when everything was working but now that doesn't work either.

Your nandroid backup stopped working as well?
Whats the back up off (rom wise)
sounds like your google account is whats gone wrong when you say cant download where can you get to in the download percent wise?

basically is keep saying starting then thats it, nandroid wise i backed it up before i did the update.zip so that was fine. When i restored the backup still having the same problem.
I've reset the phone and it still doesnt seem to be working so im going to try a different gmail account and then if that works

I got this from MoDaCo's 3.1 ROM, the only page I could find referring to your android market error, check it out, this just may be the solution.

koool cheers for that ye i been searching and seems to be a problem with this couple people been getting it in the US, but im in the UK.

For anyone having the problem with the market, please do the following...

- download this file
- push it to the device with 'adb remount' then 'adb push build.prop /system/build.prop'
- reboot with 'adb shell reboot'

Then try again and let me know if the problem is resolved?

Techy above your post would know about this, await his reply, sorry to keep you waiting.

ye those commands are for adb shell, which allows you to mount the device and use command prompt on your pc/mac to execute commands,

though i doubt that is the issue, as that is specific for the ROM,

it will be to do with the market .apk or your google account as nandroid didn't fix the issue.
I suggets trying another ROM (i suggest CKDROID) and see if using the new apk which is default on the rom works.

hi, sorry for late response, i tried loading on different Roms event the new 2.1 still same looking to try and get the original original softwares, tried and format then install a fresh version, as i think when u set to default all the Market settings are still staying the same.

So if ne bodi knos where i can gt dat from let me kno
